FleetPartners 'Best Practice Guide to driving a greener fleet'

FleetPartners have collated a generic 'Best Practice Guide' for fleet managers/operators to help in understanding New Zealand's commitment to the Kyoto Protocol from a fleet managment perspective. Information has primarily been drawn from the NZ Government, Emission Trading Group, Ministry for the Environment, vehicle suppliers, maintenance professionals and associated organisations.

Key objectives of this paper is to:

clarify how CO2 is measured and who pays the bill

provide additional thought processes around building a company vehicle policy’

outline how fleet carbon emissions, fuel usage etc is measured

provide ‘green vehicle’ comparisons based on advantages and disadvantages

provide useful links that can be refered to if requiring more information
